The San Diego Museum of Art Artists Guild and ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station cordially invite you to join us for our FREE Artists Discussions Series.

Artists Guild and Liberty Station artists are encouraged to bring artwork to present to the audience during the first hour. This is an excellent opportunity to network with other artists and view each other’s works.

SPACE SCRABBLE AND OTHER DESIGN GAMES

This talk describes a new approach to spatial design thinking centered on the creative process of playing with abstract shapes. Various rule-based games have been developed at SDSU that combine conscious form making with a high level of serendipity to generate unexpected design outcomes. These gaming principles are equally applicable to fine art, enabling artists to liberate themselves from the process of composition and allow chance to govern the final assemblage.

There is no charge, however reservations are required. Please click Register at the left, or RSVP to Angelika Villagrana, (619) 222-1034 or gelikavillagrana@gmail.com
